French Lessons

Some Sunnyside High School French students stopped by to teach a few French phrases, words, and numbers to Mr. Lund's class.  They learned the numbers 1-10, the alphabet, "My name is_________.  What is your name?" and as you can see in the pictures, "Head, shoulders, knees, and toes."  It was fun!

A Dissolving Race

Mr. Lund's Class did a science experiment to find out which solution would dissolve faster, hot or cool.  Every team found out that "Hot" dissolved faster, but some had to stir their solutions more than others.  "The hot dissolves way faster!" said Julian.

"Poppy" read in!

After doing the hard work in the first 3 sections of Poppy, Mr. Lund's class finished the book by having a "read in."  No distractions, just enjoying the end of a great book!

Superstar Student!

My name is Irene and I am a Superstar Student because I'm nice, I'm helpful, and I follow the rules.  My favorite subject in school is Science.  My favorite food is pizza.  My favorite thing to do is read.  The names of the people in my family are Margarita, Felipe, and Brenda and Aracely.  We are from Mexico and Washington.  We like to be together and play.  I am a Superstar Student!

My name is Damian and I am the Superstar Student because I am nice, I am polite, and finally I am respectful.  My favorite subject in school is AR Reading.  My favorite food is Hawaiian pizza.  My favorite thing to do is play volleyball.  The names of the people in my family are Mom, Dad, Andrew, Mia, and me Damian.  We are from Sunnyside and we like to joke with each other.  I am a Superstar Student!

Expect to receive your mid-quarter grades by Friday this week.  Make sure and have them signed.  We are working hard to improve everybody's knowledge and be super ready for 4th Grade!
