Read In!

Our small group reading class did a "Read In" of two different books.  Some kids finished Jake Drake: Bully Buster, while others read How to Eat Fried Worms.  "That book was awesome!" said Lupita.

In Social Studies, we are studying different Native American tribes and their cultures.  As part of our Inuit/Yupik learning, students got to make igloos out of marshmallows.  "I love doing this!" said Maria.

Kahn Academy

Hi!  My name is Victor.  In Mr. Lund's class, we're doing a math program called "Kahn Academy."  I have 12,000 points in it!  I like it because it makes my brain grow fast and helps me learn more math for fourth grade.

River Game!

Mr. Lund's class is building teamwork by playing "The River Game."  They have to get across the playground on small pieces of wood, as if they were using the pieces of their crashed spaceship.  "It's hard but really fun!" said Victor.

Summer School

Mr. Lund's summer school class is working hard and having fun.  One cool thing they get to do is play math games.  "This is fun!" said Esmerelda.
