Superstar Student!

Me llamo Kishbelle y estoy el "Super Estrella Estudiante" porque me estoy portando bien, estoy atendiendo cada día, y estor y asiendo lo que medigan.  Mi sujeto favorito en escuela es matematicas. Mi comida favorita es lasagne.  Me gusta jugando con mis amigos.  Las personas en mi familia son Ishbelle, Taishly, Caleb, Caren, y yo.  Somos de Puerto Rico y nos gustamos ir a la playa.  Estoy el Super Estrella Estudiante!

Cinco de Mayo

Our students were treated to a performance from Sunnyside High School's Mariachi Club and a delicious cookie from Pepe's Bakery.  All the kids were sooo excited!  "I can't wait to eat my cookie!" said Eduardo Medina-Lopez.

My name is Joshua and I am a Superstar Student because I do my homework, I do my math work, and I help others.  My favorite subject in school is P.E.  My favorite food is pizza.  My favorite thing to do is play video games.  The names of the people in my family are Willie, Jacob, Jonathan, and Me.  We are from Sunnyside and we like to play football.  I am a Superstar Student!

Superstar Student

My name is Pamela Rodriguez and I am a Superstar Student because I listen to the teacher, I am nice to people, and I don't talk when the teacher is talking.  My favorite subject in school is Math.  My favorite food is pozole.  My favorite thing to do is play with Ashley.  The names of the people in my family are Sergio, Delio, Hago, Camila, and me.  We are from Mexico and the USA and we like to go everywhere.  I am a Superstar Student!

Native American Potlatch

The entire Pioneer 3rd Grade had a potlatch celebration of their 3 month Social Studies unit.  A Yakama Nation speaker (Marlene) told stories, and each class presented their "tribe."  There was art, legends, chants, and even some traditional snacks.  "It was awesome!" said Jose.
