Bill's Berry Farm!

On Tuesday, the 3rd Grade took a field trip to Bill's Berry Farm in Grandview.  Here are the pictures!

Mother's Day!

Mr. Lund's class spent Friday planting violas and writing cards to their moms.  "My mom's gonna love these!" said Yahir Garcia-Cruz.

Brassica Models

Mr. Lund's class made models of their brassica plants, including the flower parts (4 petals "crucifer" style, stigma, and anthers) and their stem (including 2 seed leaves and 3-5 true leaves).  "I love making these," said Denise.

Dinostars!

The 2nd and 3rd grade spring concert was a success!  Twelve students from Mr. Lund's class showed up.  Here are a few of them.

Spring Science...Plants!

Mr. Lund's class planted their Brassica (aka "Wisconsin Fast Plants") plants Friday.  They will closely watch these plants until June.  "I love doing this!" said Jose Bracamontes.

Charlie

After reading about lion's manes, Mr. Lund told the class he has a cat with a mane like a lion.  Here is Charlie!
