Superstar Student

My name is Denise Correa and I am a Superstar Student because I do my work, I pay attention, and most of all, that I share.  My favorite subject in school is Science.  My favorite food is pizza.  My favorite thing to do is read.  The names of the people in my family are Gaby, Jose, Ana, Lazity, Milo, Nicole.  We are from Cascade Way and we like to go on trips a lot.  I am a Superstar Student!

Superstar Student

My name is Emily and I am a Superstar Student because I'm good and nice, I do what I'm supposed to do in school, and I don't talk when I'm not supposed to.  My favorite subject in school is Specialist.  My favorite food is strawberries.  My favorite thing to do is write.  The names of the people in my family are Blanca, Tomas, Aleidy, Jonathan, and Camila.  We are from Sunnyside and we like to go on trips.  I am a Superstar Student!!!

Back to work!

Following a long weekend, Mr. Lund's class got back to work and took a Reading Benchmark Test.  Mr. Lund told them to be like Poppy and be determined.  "I read the question as many times as I have to," said Damian.

Happy Halloween!

Hope everybody had fun and was safe!  Mr. Lund's class had a pizza party and watched Scooby Doo.

French Lessons

Some Sunnyside High School French students stopped by to teach a few French phrases, words, and numbers to Mr. Lund's class.  They learned the numbers 1-10, the alphabet, "My name is_________.  What is your name?" and as you can see in the pictures, "Head, shoulders, knees, and toes."  It was fun!

A Dissolving Race

Mr. Lund's Class did a science experiment to find out which solution would dissolve faster, hot or cool.  Every team found out that "Hot" dissolved faster, but some had to stir their solutions more than others.  "The hot dissolves way faster!" said Julian.
