3rd/4th Grade Concert

Over half of Mr. Lund's class showed up to perform "Free to be Me" in the Pioneer gym.  It was an entertaining and fun night.  "I loved it!" said Ashley.

Superstar Student

My name is Emily and I am a Superstar Student because I help people, I am kind, and I help people do lots of stuff.  My favorite subject in school is P.E.  My favorite food is ceviche.  My favorite thing to do is cheerleading.  The names of the people in my family are Alma, Bartolo, and Chelsea.  We are from Moses Lake and we like to go swimming with the family.  I am a Superstar Student!!

My name is Anthony and I am a Superstar Student because people chose me, I am funny, and I am nice.  My favorite subject in school is Library.  My favorite food is a cheese sandwich.  My favorite thing to do is play.  The names of the people in my family are Jose, Isabel, Jade, Anthony, Jose, and Richard.  We are from Sunnyside and we like to go out and have fun.  I am a Superstar Student!

Penny Drive

We're raising money to buy each Pioneer student a Puma shirt.  The drive lasts until Friday, January 23rd.  The top 3 classes get a party (1-pizza, 2-cupcakes, 3-candy).

IXL Lab

We're still working on math skills twice a week in the computer lab, using the "IXL" program.  Some kids are regularly doing this at home too.  "I keep getting so many medals!" said Lupita.

New read aloud book!

Mr. Lund's class is beginning a Biography of Martin Luther King Jr.  To learn about segregation, students looked at some pictures from back then.  "That's really messed up that black people were treated like that" said Anthony.
