Catching up with Mr. Alaniz

Mr. Alaniz stopped by our class today to teach social skills to the class.  They are learning about empathy, compassion, and being kind to others.  "Mr. Alaniz is fun!" said Raymundo Parra-Cornejo.

Earth Day!

Since Earth Day is today (April 22nd), Mr. Lund's class decided to clean up Sunnyside and make it beautiful.  Here is the trash that we collected this morning.  Way to go, class!

What's the Temperature???

Every Wednesday morning, Mr. Lund's class has checked the temperature and tracked it on this graph.  Despite last week's dip, it appears our degrees Fahrenheit will be going up until the end of school.  Keep those predictions coming, kids!

It's a Jungle out there!

Tuesday night was concert night for 2nd and 3rd Graders.  Over half our class showed up and it was a great time!  Students agreed that this was their favorite concert they've put on at Pioneer.  "It was awesome!" said Jareth Tavira-Vidales.

Welcome to Mr. Lund's Class Blog!!!  We've just started the 4th quarter at Pioneer and the weather is getting beautiful.  All the students in room 41 are working hard and excited to finish the year strong!
